We are entering Week 14 of the NFL season and we have already seen a lot of coaching changes to teams including the firing of now former head coaches Mike McCarthy and Hue Jackson.
Several teams no longer have shots at making it into the postseason while more than half of the league still have strong chances at making the playoffs. After this week a couple teams will see themselves mathematically eliminated from playoff contention.
What other names are now on the hot seat?
Todd Bowles, New York Jets
Todd Bowles has been the head coach of the Jets for four season now but has failed to reach a 10-6 record like he did during his first year. The Jets managed just five wins with one of the worst rosters in the NFL. However, the team currently holds a 3-9 record behind rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, who has missed the last couple games with an injury. Although Bowles signed a two-year extension last season could the Jets be willing to switch things up for their young quarterback?

Marvin Lewis, Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have lost the previous four games which started before the Bengals lost starting QB Andy Dalton to a season-ending thumb injury. Lewis has been the head coach of the Bengals since 2003, that is 16 seasons and it is finally time for change.
Adam Gase, Miami Dolphins
In 2016, Gase led the Dolphins to a 10-6 season but has failed to meet that mark since. Last season after somehow luring Jay Cutler out of retirement after Ryan Tannehill went down with a torn ACL, the Dolphins went 6-10. However, this season seems the same way as the Dolphins are 6-6 but are plagued with injuries. With the team starting 3-0 the program has found a rhythm of losing two games and winning one. If they want to head to the playoffs they need to figure something out.

Ron Rivera, Carolina Panthers
Rivera is already aware that his job may soon be on the line. The Panthers have made the playoffs four times in the previous five seasons but the team is currently riding a four-game losing streak. On Monday, the Panthers fired two of their assistant coaches on defense while also stripping the defensive coordinator of his play calling responsibility. Is that a sign of a possible change in Charlotte?
John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens
Harbaugh is currently on contract for the remainder of the season but that could quickly change. Things were looking bad for Harbaugh and the Ravens after Flacco went down with a hip injury that has side lined him for over three weeks. With Flacco out, Harbaugh’s job seems on the line, however, after playing rookie Lamar Jackson the Ravens have found themselves on a three-game winning streak. Currently, the Ravens hold the second and final wild card position barring any differences.
