The Los Angeles Lakers are currently 3-5 and take on the Portland Trail Blazers who are 6-2. Pressure is on Lakers head coach Luke Walton after speaking with Lakers president Magic Johnson, who is currently in a win-now mindset.
Johnson is currently unhappy with the Lakers 3-5 record and emphasized that if Walton can’t deliver winning results sooner rather than later that his job could be in jeopardy.
Walton, however, is not worried about his job at the moment and believes his relationship with Lakers management is good amidst reports.
The Lakers met the Trail Blazers on opening night and lost 128-119 at Moda Center. The Lakers started the season 0-3 before walking away victorious against the Phoenix Suns, 131-113.
