Kepler, Lynn lead Twins past Orioles 6-2

Max Kepler finished 1-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, while Jorge Polanco finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI to lead the Minnesota Twins (37-48) over the Baltimore Orioles (24-63), 6-2, on Friday Night at Target Field.

Right-handed pitcher Lance Lynn (6-7) earned the win, pitching six innings, striking out three batters while giving up one run on six hits for the Twins. Matt Belisle pitched a scoreless eighth inning, and Fernando Rodney pitched a scoreless ninth inning, while striking out one batter and giving up two hits for the Twins.

Joe Mauer finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for the Minnesota Twins. Leading the Baltimore Orioles offensively was Manny Machado, who finished 2-for-4 with a run scored.
