Lester homers, records NL-best 11th victory

Ian Happ finished 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI while Javier Baez finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored and 2 RBIs to lead the Chicago Cubs (47-35) over the Minnesota Twins (35-45), 11-10, at Wrigley Field on Sunday afternoon.

Left-handed pitcher Jon Lester earned the win, pitching five innings, striking out five batters while giving up just two runs on nine hits for the Cubs. Brandon Morrow earned the save, giving up just one hit during the final inning pitched for the Cubs.

Jon Lester finished 1-for-3 with one run scored and three RBIs for the Cubs. Leading the Twins offensively was Mitch Graver, who finished 3-for-5 with one run scored and three RBIs.
