Left-handed pitcher Robbie Ray earned the win, pitching six innings, striking out six batters while giving up just two hits for the Diamondbacks. Brad Boxberger, earned the save, pitching the final inning against the Marlins, striking out one batter while allowing one run on one hit for the Diamondbacks.
Ketel Marte finished 1-for-4 with a run scored for the Diamondbacks. Leading the Marlins offensively was Starlin Castro, who finished 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI.
The Arizona Diamondbacks scored two runs on six this while the Miami Marlins scored one run on three hits.
