Farmer PH double lifts Dodgers over Cubs in 1st game of DH

Kyle Farmer finished 1-for-1 with two RBIs and Joc Pederson finished 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers (38-33) over the Chicago Cubs (40-29), 4-3, on Tuesday, June 19th at Wrigley Field.

Right-handed pitcher Kenta Maeda pitched three innings, striking out two batters while allowing three runs on five hits for the Dodgers. Left-handed pitcher Edward Parades earned the win, facing one batter. Kenley Jansen earned the save, pitching the final inning, striking out one batter.

Yasiel Puig finished the game 1-for-3 with an RBI for the Dodgers. Leading the Cubs offensively was Kris Bryant, who finished 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

The Los Angeles Dodgers scored four runs on six hits while the Chicago Cubs scored three runs on eight hits.
