Lucroy’s RBI single in the 11th send Athletics past Angels 6-5

Mark Canha finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs while Jed Lowrie finished 2-for-5 with two runs scored to lead the Oakland Athletics (36-36) over the Los Angeles Angels (38-34), 6-5, at the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday, June 17th.Canha.jpg
Right handed pitcher Daniel Mengden pitched just under six innings, although not receiving the win, Mengden struck out two batters while giving up four runs on six hits for the Athletics. Marcus Semien finished 1-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI for the Athletics. Leading the Angels offensively was Albert Pujols, who finished the game going 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs.Pujols.jpg
The Oakland Athletics scored six runs, on seven hits with an error committed while the Angels scored five runs on nine hits.
