David Peralta finished the game 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs while Ketel Marte finished the game 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks (38-30) over the New York Mets (28-37), 6-3, at Chase Field on Thursday, June 14th.
Matt Koch received the win, pitching six innings, striking out five batters while allowing two runs on just three hits for the Diamondbacks. Brad Boxberger earned the save, pitching the final inning while striking out two batters without giving up a hit.
Paul Goldschmidt finished the game 1-for-4 but with his home run in the bottom of the 3rd inning, Goldschmidt finished with a run scored and an RBI for the Diamondbacks. Leading the Mets offensively was Michael Conforto, who finished the game 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
The Diamondbacks scored six runs on eight hits while the Mets scored three runs on four hits.
