J.D. Martinez went 2-for-4 hitting a homer and getting two RBIs to lead the Boston Red Sox (44-21) over the Chicago White Sox (21-41), 4-2, at Fenway Park on Saturday June 9th.
Starting pitcher David Price got the win throwing six innings, striking out six hitters and only allowing two runs on five hits. Craig Kimbrel earned the save pitching the last inning striking out two hitters and giving up no hits.
Jackie Bradley Jr. went 1-for-3 with a homer and one RBI for the Red Sox. Tim Anderson (1-for-4) and Jose Rondòn (1-for-2) each scored a run for the White Sox.
The Red Sox scored four runs on eight hits while the white sox scored two runs on six hits.
