Left-handed pitched Kyle Freeland earned the win, pitching six innings, striking out seven batters and allowing three runs on nine hits for the Rockies. Wade Davis pitched the final batter in the ninth inning and threw three strikes to end the game for the Rockies.
The Colorado Rockies scored nine runs on 12 hits while the Cincinnati Reds scored six runs on 17 hits.
