Homers by Iannetta, Gonzalez send Rockies over Reds 9-6

Charlie Blackmon went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored while Carlos Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with four RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Colorado Rockies (31-29) over the Cincinnati Reds (21-40) 9-6 on Tuesday, June 5th, at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Left-handed pitched Kyle Freeland earned the win, pitching six innings, striking out seven batters and allowing three runs on nine hits for the Rockies. Wade Davis pitched the final batter in the ninth inning and threw three strikes to end the game for the Rockies.

Chris Iannetta went 1-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs for the Rockies. Leading the Reds offensively, was Tucker Barnhart, who went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs.

The Colorado Rockies scored nine runs on 12 hits while the Cincinnati Reds scored six runs on 17 hits.
