Capitals one win away from Stanley Cup after Game 4 blowout

T.J Oshie had one goal and two assists while Evgeny Kuznetsov had four assists to lead the Washington Capitals (49-26-7) over the Vegas Golden Knights (51-24-7), 6-2, on Monday, June 4th at the Capital One Arena.Kuznetsov.jpg
Goalie Braden Holtby was in net the entire game, making 28 saves while allowing just two goals for the Capitals. Marc-Andre Fleury made 17 saves while allowing six goals for the Golden Knights.Holtby.jpg
Devante Smith-Pelly had one goal for the Capitals in the first period to give them a commanding 3-0 lead. Leading the Vegas Golden Knights offensively was James Neal and Reilly Smith who each had one goal in the third period.Smith-Pelly.jpg
The Washington Capitals were dominant defensively as they blocked 24 of the Golden Knights shots while the Golden Knights were only able to block eight of the Capitals shots. The Golden Knights failed to convert on their four power play opportunities while the Capitals successfully scored on three of their five opportunities.
