Victor Reyes went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored and Jeimer Candelario went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored to lead the Detroit Tigers (26-30) over the Los Angeles Angels (30-27), 6-2, on Thursday afternoon at Comerica Park.

Left-Handed pitcher Ryan Carpenter pitched four innings, striking out three batters and allowing one run on five hits for the Tigers. Warwick Saupold earned the win for the Tigers pitching two innings with a strikeout. Pitching the final inning was Shane Greene, allowing just one hit while striking out two batters.
Nicholas Castellanos went 3-for-5 with a run scored for the Tigers. Leading the Angeles offensively was Ian Kinsler, who went 3-for-4 with a run scored.
The Detroit Tigers scored six runs, on 12 hits with an error, while the Angeles scored two runs, on eight hits.
