James Harden scored 30 points as he made 11 of his 26 shot attempts from the field along with going 3 for 12 from deep. Harden also recorded four rebounds and four assists and Chris Paul scored 27 points on 10 for 20 from the field and 5 for 9 from deep. Paul also recorded two rebounds and four assists. Harden and Paul both helped lead the Houston Rockets (65-17) over the Golden State Warriors (58-24), 95-92, as the Rockets evened the series at two games apiece.
The Rockets had some help as Clint Capela recorded 13 rebounds even though he only scored eight points. Eric Gordon came off the bench and had 14 points as he went 4 for 14 from the field and was 1 for 8 from deep.
The Golden State Warriors were lead by both Curry and Durant. Curry had 28 points as he went 10 for 26 from the field and was 6 for 13 from deep. Curry missed the game tying three with just seconds remaining in the game. Durant scored 27 points as he went 9 for 24 from the field and shot 1 for 5 from deep. Durant had 12 rebounds and Curry had 6 rebounds and both players had less than three assists. Draymond Green led the team with eight assists.
The Golden State Warriors just barely out shot the Houston Rockets from the field as the Warriors were shooting 39.3% as they went 35 for 89 from the field and the Rockets were shooting 39% as they went 3 for 70 from the field. Turnovers hurt both teams as the Warriors committed 16 and the Rockets committed 13. Steals, assists and rebounds were a couple more close stats for both teams during game four of the Western Conference Finals.
